The new house

My parents are moving into their new house right now and it is beautiful. It was weird to think about them living in a new home! I was happy that I got to get a tour before I left.

The Main Event!!!!

My Sister N Law Heather decided to catch us all off gaurd and get married in Vegas! Luckily, she found an awesome man, so we couldn't be happier for her. They are such a perfect couple and we all new that this was the guy for her so we are so thrilled to welcome Ben Tuinei into the family. Well, just because we were not at the wedding didn't mean we would let her get away with not having a party with yummy food and family fun. I am so lucky that I was able to fly from from IN to attend her shower. Alison was the host and she did an amazing job. The food was FANTASTIC! I think I had about 8 plates when all was said and done. (lay off me, I'm starving) I am so lucky to have Heather as a sister and I am so happy for her. I know that she will be the best little wife and keep her man so happy! I can't to fly back in a year and attend her sealing. As for her man Ben.... well he better continue to treat her well or else..... JK he's awseome so we don't have to worry about that!

Brogie's Shiner.....

This is after it had all ready healed, but you can see that Brogan got his first black eye. Vance accidently dropped a full sippy cup on his face when he was trying to give it to him. Sad.... Good thing he is one tough kid!

Pregnacy Shmegnancy

What the heck... Thia Pregnanacy has been so different from my first 2! My first to were nothing alike, but this one is not like either one! I am so moody and emotional. If ben looks at me the wrong way I seriuolsy can't take it. My boys are slowly learning not to mess with me. Why must we fell so down in the dumps?

I really am not convinced that there is one kid in there! With Brogan I did NOT show until 6 months and I swear I am showing at 12 weeks! Not cool!

I have to eat all the time! I am so hungry and when I have a craving.... I want it now. If I go more than 2 hours with out eating I am so sick! Maybe this is why I am showing at 12 weeks. ;) I hope things start to change as I start this 2nd trimester. If not, this will be a VERY long 9 months~

Finding the eggs!

The Easter Bunny hid the eggs while the boys were sleeping so they could wake up and find them. When we were finally able to get them away from their easter baskets, they got excited to find them. Brogan was all ready to egg hunt but of coarse Vance was finding all of them before he had a chance to.(I remember doing that as a kid) Finally after telling Vance to slow down he was able to find some.

Don't you love the outfit that Vance decided to wear. His Jersey with some Transformer PJ bottoms. He gets his style from his mama.

The boys were just so cute and sweet on on Easter Morning! They just played with all thier stuff and didn't even want to go out side and look for the eggs!

He has not taken this darn jersey off! ( his middle name is Turner... So he really loves this one!)

The Baskets/Buckets

I let the boys pick the baskets that they wanted to leave out for the Easter Bunny and of coarse they choose the smallest little buckets! How is the "bunny" supposed to work with that? Vance couldn't really understand what the Easter Bunny actually does. I told him he brings "treats" and so he kept saying things like "The Easter Bunny is going to bring me a bike" and "The Easter Bunny is going to bring me a swimming pool". I was a little worried that He was going to wake up Easter morning and be extremely disappointed! Well, I was wrong... He was so excited when he saw his little pile of gifts. He has been asking for a Red Georgia Football jersey because all of his are black. I don't think I have ever seen him so happy as when he saw that jersey! Of coarse Brogan was just so happy about all of his gifts too. Our kids don't really eat candy, so we only gave them 2 eggs with M&M's in it. I know.... Lame parents... I just cant deal with the sugar rushes!

Coloring Eggs..... A brave thing

This was the first year we colored eggs with kids. It was so weird because I feel like it was just the other day when I was a kid coloring my own eggs. The boys had SO much fun. Little Bro Bro was so excited. He pretty much was screaming from excitement the whole time. He also kept wanting to take the little color tablets out of the water because he thought they were candy! Vance only wanted to decorate the eggs like Footballs, Basketballs and Baseballs. Luckily Artistic ben was there to help with that. I am sad to say that we lost about half the eggs due to the boys droping them. The don't really understand how to be "soft"

Long story short.. I was so sick of people telling me that I have a cute little girl! Even when he is decked out in the BOYEST clothes, people still thought he was a girl. It is a little sad because I think the cut made him look 3 years older but I am sure Ben will make me grow it long again. When Ben got home from work, he would not even comment on it because he was mad that I cut it. We had been arguing about cutting it for like a year! I likes the curls and I like the clean cut!

Anything for attention

Vance just loves making us laugh. He is continuously trying everyhting he can to keep us smiling. He is a little smarty pants. The other day I woke up and he had spilt Cheerios all over the floor. I told him that he was in trouble and he said "Mom, why don't you lock the pantry so I can't get into it." Ok Vance, Maybe I will. It's not a good feeling when my 4 year old is telling me how tho be a better mother! He also keeps telling me that I should wear dresses more so i can look like a princess. I think this is because I made him watch Enchanted with me. He loved it except for any part where they sang about "True loves kiss" then he just closed his eyes and said, "this part is stupid. I just love having him in my life!

Failure......

Yesterday we tried to go out side and fly the boys $1 kites. Ben just could not get over the fact that I have NEVER flown a kite before, and that meant I was no help at all. The wind was WAY too Strong for the cheap little kites we had and plus it was FREEZING! Me and Brogan were so cold and we just wanted to go home the whole time. Finally Ben was able to get one kite up in the air and he accidentally let go of it and sent it into the woods. Oh well.... maybe next time when we have better kites.

Monsters vs Aliens

I took Vance on a mommy son date to see Monsters Vs Aliens. He thought it was so cool and he didn't even wear the glasses. I think he woud have, but they kept sliding off his tiny nose. I thought it was Ok... It is kind of sad that I am losing my tolerance for kid movies:(

My non-productive weekend....

Ahhhh...... ok I have no idea what to do with myself. Well lets start with Saturday...
10:30am - wake up
11:30am - Ben made pizza and egg salad for lunch
12:30pm - decided that I wanted to take the boys to chain O lakes national park
1:00pm -decided that I was too tired so I went to sleep
4:30pm - woke up from my nap with plans to make dinner
5:00pm - way too tired..... we went to Steak n shake Mmmmm

after dinner we went car shopping while I complained the WHOLE time because I wanted to go home......
8:00pm - put the boys to bed so I could go to bed.
11:00pm - Called ben to make me food and bring it upstairs...
11:10pm - complained that his food wasn't good enough so I sent him back down to remake it...
(I think I am a monster)
As for sunday... it was kind of the same story but I DID TRY to go to church, but half way through I was hungry, tired and cranky so I left early. (hoping for half the blessings?)
Today.....
11:30am - woke up to a clean house and kids fed..... Thanks honey.
12:30pm blogging......
and now I will go to sleep........
I am blaming this all on my choice to give up caffine. Maybe I should just give in and have a darn Mountain Dew? Any other suggestions?
