Our swimming pool....

there are not a lot of pools out here in IN so we made our own. LOL The boys actually loved it! I don't know how they lasted so long because the water was freezing but I guess they were just happy to be in their "pool"! Good thing we have a bunch of these storage bins left from the move....;)

I asked what they were doing here and they said "warming up" pretty smart huh?

Soda-Pops

I was watching the boys outside eating their Soda-Pop popcycles and I just had to grab the camera. The were being so cute and nice to eachother! (a rare occation) I think that they were just enjoying the nice weather!

Brogan can't really handle the cold too well....

Vance the smarty pants.......

Everyday Vance tells me what he wants to be when he grows up. It changes quite often but most of the time he says doctor because he wants to "give people shots". I was asking him what I should be when I grow up and he said.... "Mom you are all ready grown up". So I said "Oh? so I'm just a mommy?" his response was "NO!! your a picture taker silly" Hmmmm I wonder why he says that? After that he asked me if he was growning and I told him yes and he said "like a strawberry?" Where does he come up with this stuff? I guess he thinks strawberries gorw fast? Who knows?

Festivities on the fourth!

We went out to Churubusco to my Brother in Law's property to celebrate the 4th! Besides the weather being a bit chilly, the kids had so much fun! Daddy brought back watermelon ffrom Georgia that the kids chowed down on.

Uncle Philip bought this slide so the kids would have something to play on. the water was so dang cold

I know this is bad, but I had to take this cute pi of the kids during the prayer!

Brogan did not like the slide very much because he hates being cold. Finally Uncle Philip helped him down.

Tennis in the heat!

While we were in Hilton Head, The boys had some pretty intense tennis matches. It was so freaking hot with 100% Humidity so you can imagine how sweaty everyone got. My cute little Brogan showed some talent with the tennis racket. He could seriously serve it over the net! (from up close of course) I had to make fun of my dad and his bandana, but I must say for a man in his 50's he's lookin' pretty dang good!

What the WHAT!!! 5 years!

Ben and I celebrated 5 Years of marriage on July 1st! I seriously can't beleive it. I am so happy to have been able to spend the last 5 years of my life with Benny! He is so good for me and I know is the only person on this earth that could take care of me as well as he does. He is so funny and keeps life exciting. We celebrated by going out with friends and family and it was so nice to be out with all of them. Ben also got me such a cute new coach bag that I just love!!! Thanks Benner! I love you!
