SERIOUSLY?

Yep!!! My kid eats Ketchup! Ok, How come before we have kids, we see little brats in a restaurant eating ketchup like this and our first thought is... "my kid will never act like that. I will never let my kid eat just Ketchup for lunch!" And then, reality comes along and what do you know? Your kid wants to eat ketchup for lunch and yes of coarse.... you let them! All I have to say about that is...WHATEVER! If it makes him happy for the time being then let it be! Just fit in a couple extra fruits and veggies somewhere else in the day and forget about it!

They are finally friends!

Well, I have been waiting for the day when I could see my boys playing together! Vance finally loves Bro! Now that Brogan is paying more attention to Vance, they have become much better friends! Vance still has a lot to learn about "sharing" but I think it will come with time. I can't wait for them to get older and be best friends! Everyone told me that I was crazy for having them 17 months apart, But I am so happy that I did! Actually, I wish they were closer!

Brogan is back to his normal self! He is so happy! He is such a wonderful blessing in my life! Of coarse with my life, things couldn't be totally back to normal! Vance woke up with a 104 degree temp due to an ear infection! Awesome huh? Hopefully he will get better soon!

This HAS to be a joke!

WOW! Brogan has done it again! We just got out of the hospital for a 3rd time in the past month and 1/2! Brogan was admitted with Pnuemonia and severe Croupe! He has been such a little trooper! he was there for 3 days and now he is out and doing fine. He gets breathing treatments every 3 hours and he is on medicine for the pnuemonia. We are very happy to have him home!

Country Thunder

Yes, ok, I am kind of a redneck sometimes! I do have to say that I had a ton of fun at Country Thunder! My dad got us VIP passes so we had free food and great seats! I really only went to see Phil Vasser (1 of my favorite country singers) and he was so much fun! I got to be really close to him! Neal McCoy came on next and he was Halarious! He is more of a comedian than a singer! The best part about the whole thing was just getting a little breath of fresh air WITHOUT the kids. It was so nice to be out with Ben on a fun date while the kids were with a babysitter, But I do have to admit that I really missed them by the end of the night!

EASTER!

Easter was so fun! I kind of felt like a bad mom because I didn't do an easter egg hunt for Vance, but I figured he is still a little young. I will do one next year for sure! Vance loved his Basket. Even though he got no candy, he was still very happy to get Hot Wheels, sidewalk chalk, a baseball glove and a few other little things. After church, we had a HUGE family get together at my parents house! The food was so yummy! Between my aunt Nena's salad and my aunt Jami's ham, I ate way too much! It was all Delicious! I love to be around all of my family! They are so much fun and I wish we could have more family get togethers! I can't believe how much every one grows and changes so much! I have been trying to get my house put back together because it is a disaster! Vance really knows how to keep a messy house. Some times I just feel like I need to lock him in his room for a day if I want to get anything done! I caught him drawing all over our walls with a black pen! Oh well.... I guess it is just part of being a mom!

So I hate to be to braggy, but I just can't believe how much I love vance! Why do I laugh when he tells me "no" and "go away"? Oh... and I can't forget his newest... "oh my" he is so funny. I find it hard to punish him when he is so cute. It is truly amazing how much kids learn from watching their parents. I LOVE BEING A MOM!

RR park!

So today, we went to the rail road park in scottsdale! It was way fun! My Aunt Nena met us there and it was a really fun way to enjoy the out doors! Vance really loves the "Choo Choo"! He kept very busy with all the fun. It is a great place to go with out spending any $. I am really getting the hang of going out with my two boys. It finally has become kind of easy! (as long as we have diapers, snacks and sippy cups...were GOOD!)

Hello Again!

Ok, so yes, I started this a long time ago and now I am really going to try and keep up with it! I find it a very good way to keep updated on all my friends and family! (also, Amy said that I just have to!) Well I thought that being a mom of 2 was going to be totally crazy, But.... things have actually been ok! We have been out of the hospital with both the boys! Brogan gave us a big scare with Pneumonia and RSV, but he was able to fully recover quite quickly! I love my family so much! Ben has been working hard at the dealership, and he just got a promotion that will be Great for our family! My boys are so cute. Brogan is getting so old so fast and Vance just can't get old enough quick enough! He really keeps us busy! He is crazy, But I wouldn't have it any other way!
