Crazy Aunt Posey

We are watching Ben's brothers kids this weekend.. ALL 5 OF THEM. I can't believe that women have this many kids. With mine added into the group, it is 7! I am actually proud of myself for keeping things going so smoothly. They have kept me laughing and very entertained. Tonight dinner was such a hit. Who knew that kids would be so thankful for pigs in a blanket?!

I was brave and gave Baby Holland an Oreo fudge ring.......

We cleaned her up in the sink. She LOVED it!

Is this ever going to end?

Bro Bro has been SOOOOO sick. It is so scary finding him blue in his bed and completly unable to breathe. Sara was such a big help while she was here. She sat with him in the street for 15 minutes at a time in 10 degree weather trying to open up his airway. He had RSV and Pnuemonia on 3 different occations and the Drs always told us that he might always suffer from it. We are hoping that he will grow out of it, But that has not been the case yet. He has finally Given up and will sit during a breathing treatment. I think he finally realized how much the help him. I feel so sad for him. I just love him to death and I hate watching him suffer.

V Day... Not my favorite holiday

Ben returned from Chicago on Valentines day with flowers for me AND Sara. We felt so loved. I felt a little guilty because I had all ready warned Ben that he was babysitting so me and Sara could go out. After all, She was only here for a couple of days!He was a great sport about it so we planned out a whole night of fun for girls. Dinner Movie, Kareoke... ya know, the "works" Well we felt too sorry for Ben after dinner so we ordered extra food and spent the night in watching red boxes. But we did send Ben out for extra large Milk Shakes. (that was the highlight of the night)

So the time that we DID spend out... we got harrased by these guys and couldn't get rid of them. To be honest I was scared of them, but Sara AKA "Rebecca" ate it up. Has anyone seen the skit from MAD TV where the guy won't stop asking that girl for her number? Well, that was these guys. It was pretty funny. I even told them over and over that I am married with 2 kids!!! Wierdo's.

I always tell ben That I want to take his guns out and go shooting, But when we do, I just chicken out because I am so scared of guns! Well.... Luckily, Sara was in town and showed me how it's done! After watching her shoot a couple rounds, I figured I could do it. Let me just say, I am awesome. LOL I actually couldn't get enough of it.
I just hate how loud it is.

If you don't like the weather....

So there is a saying... "If you don't like the weather, Wait a minute" That is so true for Fort Wayne! I am not even kidding it goes from 10 degrees to 63 degrees in one day! It is so crazy. We just watch the cycle from freezing to beautiful. I have to pull up my google home page everyday so I know what to wear that day! It is so beautiful when it warms up. I can't wait for the summer here. This weekend is supposed to be 17 degrees and snow for 2 days straight. I am sure I will have pictures to post. I don't understand how every store here has put away their winter clothes and pulled out the bikinis! I just don't get it.
You can imagine that as soon as the boys feel the "warm" weather, they take off on thier bikes!

Tobboganing (sp?)

We went Toboggoning(once again sp?) today and it was so fun! It is kind of like bob sledding and reg sledding put together. You shoot down on this sled and go about 40 mph. We were crazy enough to take both the boys on it and they loved it. We just had to focus mostly on keeping them on the sled:) I seriously couldn;t stop laughing the whole ride because it was so much fun! I cant wait to go back!

the Ice Man

Vance stresses me out because he wants to be in the snow all day. today I let him play in the front yard and throw "snowballs" (that is really just ice chunks) and he never wants to come in. He actually takes off his gloves and digs in the snow. He's crazy!

"Congie"

So Vance has a little "friend" that none of can see. His name is Congie and for some reason he is Vance's favorite topic of conversation. The other day I asked him where Congie was and he said "in the car with his mom" and today I was pouring some juice and he asked if I "could please pour some for Congie. He also told me to be quiet because Congie was sleeping! I don't know how much of it is an act, but either way, its funny!

Busy unpacking

The only way I can get anything done is by turning on Toy Story, Cars or Finding Nemo! Since we don't have anything set up yet, we just plopped our little tv on the floor and the kids don't take their eyes off it. It may be bad mothering, but How am I supposed to get anything done? They think it is so important to be by my side at ALL times! Sometimes I will put them to "pretend work" by telling them that the floors need to be cleaned so they need to use thier imagianry brooms to sweep. Hey whatever works right?

We got a house!

We finally moved into our house and it is the cutest house ever! I love it. It is so perfect for our little family. I can't wait to personalize and get everything unpacked. I will post more pics as I get the inside looking showable!
